Leaving Rocroi, a fortified town and small city of character, the route will pass through Bourg-Fidèle, then through Rimogne, where you can visit the slate house, or simply admire the architectural remains of the former and current exploitation of the slate schist. Then direction the Lake of the Vieilles Forges where you will be able to practise nautical and sporting activities. Arriving in Montcornet, you can admire the castle of Montcornet, or visit its historic villages that go back in time. The last section will take you to the valleys of the Meuse and Semoy rivers, to Bogny-Sur-Meuse, city of legends with a strong industrial past, where you can visit the museum of Ardennes metallurgy, and learn more about the legend of the 4 Aymon sons.
